Proverbs 3...
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.
Do not be wise in your own eyes;
fear the LORD and shun evil.
This will bring health to your body
and nourishment to your bones.
Honor the LORD with your wealth,
with the firstfruits of all your crops;
then your barns will be filled to overflowing,
and your vats will brim over with new wine. "

I really enjoyed reading these verses this morning. It reminded me how the Lord understands the course of things, and knows what work His hands are bringing about and the timing in which He is causing it to happen.
I like how it urges us to shun evil, and tells us that fearing God and shunning evil will bring health to our bodies and nourishment to our bones. I think that there is spiritual value in setting things right in the physical as well as in the spiritual.
I'm coming to believe that somehow cleaning our house and being discerning about what we watch and what we listen so that we don't entertain things that are evil really does make a difference in health and all the things that matter most to us.
