Isaiah 43:16, 18-19
“This is what the LORD says— he who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters, "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.”

Hi Deborah!
I'm so glad that you stopped by my blog and were inspired. When it comes to decorating, 95% of the furniture in my home are refinished antiques that I inherited from my grandfather. My parents were big into refinishing pieces of furniture that looked like they had no hope and made them look amazing so I followed suit. The most cost-effective way to find furniture is to go to as many flea markets, yard sales, and antique stores as possible. There are so many hidden "treasures" with so much potential and you can usually talk people down on the prices.
Colorful pillows, blankets, and accessories help brighten up a room without paint. I would, however, suggest that you paint at least an accent wall. Even if you choose just one wall with a bright color, it will add a lot of dimension to the room. You can also paint end tables, bookshelves, and other wooden pieces can be painted with bright colors to add spunk.
Hope these ideas help. Happy Decorating!
That verse really uplifts my spirit. Thanks Deborah and thank you God. :)
